BTW, your link didn't get me to the product. Perhaps this one will

This is sour grape juice, not verjus, and, in my experience, they are 
not the same thing.

That said, i have used it where verjus was called for, but they 
really don't taste the same. But feast cooking on a budget makes some 
substitutions a necessity.

The Middle Eastern Sour Grape Juice (and i have tried more than one 
brand and they were virtually identical in flavor) is very very very 
sour and harsh.

The Verjus i have had was sour, but smooth, and i even drank some of 
it. Quite tasty. I wish i could find more - as a beverage!

Trust me, it is unlikely that one would really want to drink a glass 
of Middle Eastern Sour Grape Juice, and i enjoy consuming sour and 
bitter foodstuffs.
