very easy, even for small children I think. (it's actually the first
mideaval recipe that I tried that had a real succes)

make a pie shell out of flour, butter, milk or water (don't remember)
(put it all in a bowl and knead till it's dough)

make a filling from chopped onions, grated cheese, eggs, butter and
spices (for the younger kids, put it all in a bowl and let them make
it into a mash (?) before they put it in the pie shells, for the older
kids you can let them chop the onions in rings and make more more
fancy looking pies )
