Just got back from vacation, and I have been reading the e-mail most
current first, so my apologies if this has been answered....

Wild turkeys-
I'm not sure if they are endangered, but they are conserved, and
depending on the state, shooting them off season is a hefty fine. The
National Wild Turkey Federation list each hunting season and bag limit
per state and Canadian provence: http://www.nwtf.org/in_your_state/?
desturl=/in_your_state/hunt_guide.php

As for Deer, there are also deer farms, some allow hunters and some
prepare the meat for you- like Musicon Farm, who breeds fallow deer for
kosher vension (www.koshervenison.com).

I'm more concerned with how the meat was prepared during slaughter then
how it was killed. I have never hunted, but I have fished, and killing
is the easy part. Preparing the carcess takes much more skill and
education.

:)
