Ok, I'm posting this website NOT for discussion, but since the topic 
comes up here with great regularity:

Pasteurization
Collection of links to information about pasteurization, which is "the 
partial sterilization of foods by heat treatment to destroy 
disease-causing and other undesirable organisms." Provides general 
information about pasteurization, reports on target diseases of 
pasteurization (such as salmonella), and links specific to the
