  I think some later messages I noticed talk about stuffed eggs being 
period, so I won't go into that. But for various period recipes for 
stuffed eggs and redactions of them, check this file in the FOOD 
section of the Florilegium:

You might also want to consider "Scotch Eggs". These do appear to be 
out of period, though.
