I did a middeaval themed bday party this year and one of the guests
(who was a reenactor in a previous existence) told me that middeaval
food was dangerous and that he wasn't going to eat any of it. (on the
other hand, afterwards he commanded me for the good food)

- Unknown spices that I have no idea where to find
- cooking with wine is not my favorite (I hardly drink wine, and only
sweeter beers like geuze,faro,lambic,..)
- working through the archaic language is not easy when you have a
problem with written modern day language(dyslexia)

those where my objections, and they only got solved when I met my
current bf who encourages me to try things, and eats it all :),

Granted, several of these obections would have been solved much more
easily If I knew ppl in my area that are interested in historical
cooking.
