honey, sing your song, do your dance and go the hell home. 
 do what you need to do, but do your best not to deal with 
him.  hopefully he will self-combust with that tood before 
you have to deal with him.

and always make sure he is sitting and you are standing if 
you have to talk to him.  make him look up to you. ;)

but remember...  from auntie cailte... if you must mano e 
mano with him, you don't have to like him, just be civil 
to him until you can politely extricate yourself from his 
presence.
