[Sca-cooks] a Lenten question-

I've never actually had to face that particular challenge.  Got one 
friend who's lactose intolerant, but that's about it (and she's 
generally not in the SCA food picture, as she's got a lot of really 
fussy food preferences).  We get other food challenges up here, though. 
  Folks who don't do wine, folks who don't do pork (B&B), folks who 
can't stand fish, etc.  Not too many, but enough to screw with feast 
menus when you're trying to make everyone welcome (we're a really small 
group, so the effect is a bit disproportionate).
