Just make a smaller batch of your menued item with Splenda or other non-sugar sweetner, and label
it as such.  The diabetics will be able to eat it, and those who freak out about artificial
sweetners can cross themselves as they scurry past it, shoveling their children along in front of
them.  The ones who demand absolute authenticity can eat the other, as well, so everyone is happy.

Problem solved.
