I'm following threads very loosely these days, so forgive me if this has already
been said.


Wine must is mentioned in period as a potential low-grade substitute for honey
-mostly in preserves. I don't know how applicable or frequent it is in other
recipes. Or if it is actually going to be an applicable solution to the
specific problem that spawned this discussion.
