>Well, it may be that the grapes are a New World variety, but they fulfill some other characteristics, being small, green, and most important, free, I thought I'd ask. My shire has an event coming up in November that I am cooking dayboard for, and I would like to use verjuice in one of the chicken recipes. I am thinking of freezing some of the grapes and using the juice fresh as well.

In my opinion, just go ahead and use them...

Just state in you handout that you are using New world
grapes and why. (If you dont have a menu handout, put it
down in your ingredient lists)

Upon the hempen tackle ship-boys climbing;
Hear the shrill whistle which doth order give
To sounds confused; behold the threaden sails,
Borne with the invisible and creeping wind,
Draw the huge bottoms through the furrow'd sea,
Breasting the lofty surge: O, do but think
You stand upon the ravage and behold
A city on the inconstant billows dancing;
For so appears this fleet majestical,
Holding due course to Harfleur.
