I'm too am glad he is back and would shake his hand... freedom is not free.
Tis interesting this war and perhaps the other Bush's War when contrasted
with my father's wars.

Korean in 1950 where he froze his hands and feet at Chosen and in the long
walk out the other side. Trenches, mass wave attacks, malaria and toes
turned black from frost bite thatis what they faced. No parade down Market
Street for them. It's called the forgotten war.

Vietnam... two tours... in the second his bunker was hit, collapsed and
buried him alive. Just him, the dead, and the rats until they dug him out.
A Purple Heart but definitely no parade, most definately no parade, then
either... PTSD but no parade.

If you really want to thank our veterans take a long close look at what the
congress and this admistration is doing to thier benifits. Hold the
politician's and bureaucrat's feet to the fire at the very least regards our
veteran's continuing medical care needs... and that means all of our
veterans be they regular service, reserve or national guard. It is
literally a crying shame.

Read Kipling's Tommy Atkins and know that history repeats like bad chile.
