[Sca-cooks] wine vinegar

But I was speaking of wine VINEGAR, not 'cooking wine' as sold in the 
grocery. 

One of my friends refuses to cook with wine, substituting grape juice, 
because he only likes expensive sweet wines. I find this silly, because 
I only started to like to drink wine at all a few years ago, but I 
wouldn't have dreamt of not using wine in recipes where it was called 
for!
