[Sca-cooks] wine vinegar

I am confused, too. I just looked at several of my wine vinegars. They do
contain sulfites -- but *wine* contains sulfites. One bottle even says
"contains sulfites from grapes." Is this what you're objecting to? The malt
and cider vinegars I have on hand don't contain sulfites.

I don't cook with vinegars that don't taste good -- same as with wines, or
any other ingredient for that matter -- but I have never had a problem with
off flavors from sulfites.
