Added ingredients:
butter
eggs
sugar
Lets see ...
First I'd cook the lentils with some chopped bacon. (peri-oid)
Then I'd poach a couple of eggs, and serve on top of the sauteed
spinach with a sort of hollandaise sauce made with egg yolks, butter,
and a splash of the bitter orange juice. (made up)
Finally, I'd make almond milk from the almonds, add ginger and sugar,
cook it down until it's thick like pudding (stondyng), and serve it
as a dessert. (period)
If I can have salt as a freebie, then I'd add it to the lentils and
the spinach.
So it's Eggs Florentine Angostura, with lentils and an almond cream.
How's that?
