A tiny note: presently it is only a theory that the Basque and Iberians were
the same people.
I would say that there is a strong possibility of noodles in Spain during
SCA period. The Basque region of Spain, maybe not as strong and French
Basque maybe less.
Presently, my brain keeps shifting into neutral so I can't quite formulate
my arguement real well. Something about a Spanish Pope and other reasons. :P
