I was thinking cherries and blueberries myself... maybe apples for Michigan.
Jiffy mix is local;  I could do Jiffy mix cornbread.
I thought it was an  interesting idea. If one did a bundt cake contest 
for an event,
you could have entries that represented kingdoms or baronies.
