Whipped cream. Lots and lots of whipped cream. You can actually use as much
whipped cream as creamed cheese and it will still set quite well. Makes for
a lighter texture, so you can eat much more and only feel half as guilty
:-))

Beyond that, I'd add whatever fruits are at hand. Kiwis, pineapples (not too
much of these two however), strawberries, melons, blueberries, etc, etc...

Or the classic chocolate (lots), coffee, or tea (not a lot).

Or some good booze. A couple tablespoons goes a long way.

And I have to agree that sour cream makes a nice topping. Have never
actually tried it in the cake, but it does sound interesting.
