I'd put it at less than that for these:
6 months or less for ground ginger
1 month for ground cardamom
2 months for ground coriander
3-6 months for ground caraway
7 days for ground nutmeg
Almost indefinitely for ground cloves
> 2 years + for whole spices, longer for heavier/thicker things like
> peppercorns, chunks of root, etc.
