Surely you jest. I wouldn't trust a Tourist Board anywhere to be 
telling the truth. They're trying to hook tourists, not historical 
researchers :-) Clearly, tomatoes have not been in Spain since 
Medieval times, since they were not discovered until the late 
Renaissance.

Now, ignoring the Valencia Tourist Board...

doing research to find the earliest surviving recipe for paella or a 
paella-like dish, and doing research to find the earliest recipe 
including tomatoes is meaningful.
