Fab Feasts was my first book on period food, the Galantine Pie recipe is
still one of my favorites.  She is definitely someone upon who's
shoulders we stand now.

What was this Galantine Pie recipe? I do have the book, but perhaps  
others might want to see it. Any idea of whether this recipe  
resembles a/any recipe(s) in the medieval corpus? Do you cook this  
dish as she redacted it or have you made changes?
