geez ,louise!  i was just assuming we would get *some* 
kind of fat in the kit but we might not if it's a freebee. 
 most of our victual kits tend to be on the well-supplied 
side here in the outlands, so you start to expect things. 
 we usually have butter and olive oil, if not both.

i guess bacon or lard  might be my best bests considering 
i am using guiness and steel cut oats for the liquid and 
staple.
