How To Mylk an Almond:
A Thousand Years of Recipes

I also thought the "How to" catches the interest.
And the word recipes lets you know it is a cookbook.

"Miscellany" is a word that doesn't tell me anything, and makes me
think of miscellaneous which I use as a category of things that don't
really belong anywhere else but I want to keep. It doesn't make me
think about cooking.

"How To Mylk an Almond" catches my interest because it's unexpected.
