I do have the Memsahib's  Cookbook, recipes from the days of the Raj;
Paperback ISBN 0-7499-1170-0 by Rhona Aitken, as reprint from 1993 (the
firt was written in 1989)

it is a charming book with stories from 1890ties, recipes and an
introduction to live in India in the 19th century by the Greatgranddaughter
of Edward Hamilton Aitken, a Naturalist born in India of scottish ancestry
.

If you want a specific recipe I can look if ther eis somethnig in there.

Regards

Katharina
