Huette is right about the definition.  I bet it tastes kind of liver-y 
though.

Speaking of food with a bloody protein boost:  I have had black pudding 
in the north in England and liked it!

I thought "heaven and earth" was apples and potatoes?  I guess there's 
no expecting the wurst.  [grin, duck, run for The Rock!]
