[Sca-cooks] Spit roasting?

I don't maintain spit roasting equipment, but I have enough bar stock
that when I want to spit roast I can throw something together that can
do it, as long as you don't have to turn it constantly.

I saw a couple of drawings, though, that showed turning set ups
powered by a small dog.
One of these days, I may decide to build one, although for obvious
reasons, it couldn't be used at Pennsic.

So, you think your data is safe?

Heat it up
Hit it hard
Repent as necessary.

It's the smith who makes the tools, not the tools which make the smith.
