Way back in the Middle Ages... well, back when I was in college in the 60's, 
I had a quote about nutmeg being psychodelic (spelling is off, but don't 
have spell check on-line <sigh>), but that one also had to take it with 
orange juice and Kaopectate to counter the nausea and diahrrea one could 
expect after consuming it. Back then, I think 2 Tablespoons was all it 
supposedly took to get that "high."
