[Sca-cooks] Sugar Dome - new series

With the theme clearly stolen directly from Mad Max, why would you expect anything except truly cheesy cheese?

(Although, I'll admit, I miss the old pure filmed competition shows, where the competitors were the tops in their game, were able to plan and practice beforehand, and were given not ample, but sufficient time to complete -- none of this survivor/big brother/oh no a twist [aside -- don't any of the competitors ever watch these shows beforehand? Must some twit always proclaim "I wasn't expecting a twist"]..um, lost that train of thought). But yes, plain old creativity is far more interesting to watch without all the added "drama".

toodles, margaret

I flipped in at one point and flipped right out again when I heard the
invisible announcer say, "The Sugar Dome desires a twist" or something like
that. Really, do they need to get that cheesy? Why not a host that explains
the rules and that there will be random twists thrown in at different
points. I care more about the sugar work than the theater of it all. At
least it isn't another Food Network (Cake and Only Cake) Challenge.
