Latin. The nice thing about Google Translate is it now has an option that
guesses the language. (Also, it's medieval monks; when in doubt, think
Latin.)
One could probably get pretty far with GT on this one, since so many of the
terms are basic food concepts.
I'm tempted but in fact I found it while seeking out a word for another
Latin translation project that's of more use to me.
