[Sca-cooks] Ivan Day and Gingerbread

Greetings!  Ivan Day has been busy again with another new blog, this 
time on gingerbread (http://foodhistorjottings.blogspot.com/). While the 
bulk of the blog is post-period, there are references to gingerbreads up 
to the late 1600s. He includes a number of photos of molds as well as 
several recipes (although one calls for eight pounds of flour!). A very 
interesting topic.
