Some time ago we had a discussion about some East Asian dumplingish things that were cooked by pouring batter into depressions in a special pan, cooking them a bit (and often adding a nugget in the middle - I seem to recall octopus being mentioned), then flipping them with a special tool (though posters said chopsticks worked just fine) to finish cooking. The pan was very much like a Danish aebleskiver pan. I thought they looked fascinating, but I wasn't likely to ever have the appropriate pan, so I deleted all those messages. Now I've got the pan! And I can't even remember the name of the treats being cooked, so I can't search the archives to find the messages! Does someone understand what I'm trying to describe, and remember the name?
