A number of the prime medieval sources for food have names like 'Regime du
Corps" and cover everything from bathing to coitus. It's easy to forget
sometimes they are not primarily works on food.
With all that's outmoded in these works, the idea that diet is a key
element in maintaining one's health is hard to challenge.
