Ack!  Sorry to hear about your hand but glad to hear it was not your dominant hand.  
  Do what the doctors say for therapy and recovery or you can cause further damage.  
   
  Sorry to hear you didn't make the event, I didn't either due to a Saturday morning conflict.  By the time I would have shown up it would have been 3pm or so, so I decided not to attend this time around - but I always enjoy seeing what everyone else is working on and showing.
