definitely aim for the gulf as a southern border ... would be a solid 
geographic boundary, would make logistical sense (political entities 
with port access are much more viable in a historical sense), and it 
removes the "doughnut hole" arguement that seems prevalent.  a 
logical geographical "target" would be anything within a 3 hour drive 
of here (if people can get to event after work and setup on a friday 
night, they will be more likely to attend ...).
