To each their own, but to me it didn't sound at all like
that. To me it sounded like someone mildly exasperated but
still in a humorous mode -- exasperated by people saying
that he shouldn't or couldn't sit around in his own camp and
talk about what he wants, and trying to do gentle ribbing.
My take on it: I think the idea of cutting back on
communication is counter-productive. I think the idea of
funnelling all communication to and from any group
(especially the largest region of the kingdom!) thru one
person is absurd. We're at the exploratory stage now, where
people are talking about the basics, learning about the
possible issues, talking about reasoning and emotional
responses, and generally learning about the parameters.
Let a hundred flowers blossom, and a hundred schools of
thought contend!
