SR - ballots results

Greetings

I have also been fascinated by the point/counter-point of the discussion of 
the ballots.  It seems that a "few" people voted, a "few" didn't and a "few" 
more are complaining about the whole situation.  It appears that there is no 
easy answer to what happened, or why some ballots "never made it"

YES, I VOTED. Both times.  Our seneschal made it a point to hand out the 
ballots (both times) and collect them on the same day!  A seperate list was 
even made of people who voted, so no one could say they didn't vote.

I could list some SUGGESTIONS on how to help get more votes(email back 
privately) but I can guess what kind of responses would be posted to them if 
done here.

A name other than "Southern Region" would be interesting.  But, does it have 
to be named now??? Or even in the next year??  How about a vote on WHEN to 
name us instead of WHAT to name us?(then no-one can say they didn't have 
advanced notice)  Notices of WHEN can be published in the OFFICIAL 
newsletters (Black Star) instead of the net or the lions tail.

A real name can be the rally cry during war 8-)  ...or the name can cause a 
split cause "no one likes it right now"  8-(
Lets make it a RALLY CRY!!!

I now turn control of the soapbox to the next person. 8-)
