ST - Just a simple question

Hello,
I have a question that has been posed to me.  What do you think of when you 
think of "Steppes Guilds"?  I am not really sure how to answer this, so I 
pose the question to this list.  I am certainly not an expert concerning 
this topic, so I ask your help.  I appreciate your response and will let 
you know what I come up with later on in the week (or next).  Thank you for
