[Steppes] Scandinavian Festival

Conal,

Yes, it would be nice to have some fighters, artisans, etc., show up.  The
date is Saturday, September 8th, at the Wooden Spoon, and the location is
off of Avenue K in Plano, but close to which intersection - Park?  Parker?
Spring Creek?  What start time -- 10AM or before?  And, sure, I'll find out
how many would like to play with us on that day.

CALLING ALL VIKINGS!  :D

Would anyone like to sit around a Scandanavian gift shop, where you can
peruse for Twelfth Night gifts, and perhaps finish up that project you've
been working on?  Jon Rolfsson has offered to bring a deer hide out that
he's been tanning and finish it off.  Anyone who would like to try out a
Viking persona for the day is welcome.  There are many in our Barony these
days who enjoy the Norse persuasion!  Some of our best knights and artisans
are of that very persuasion, right Thorkel and Kalida? ;)   Some of our
households are, too!

We will be teaching and making Viking tunics at Glaslyn's Artisan of the
Flame this weekend, so maybe we'll have some new Vikings to add to our
Barony!

Please let me know if you would like to come out to the demo and display
your talents and costuming!  It sounds like a lot of fun!
