First I want to say it is good to "hear" from you Lady
Mary Elizabeth. I'm very glad to know that you are
joining us again. Your presence and voice has been
sorely missed.

Second Lord Morgan. A single archer does not a
practice make.(not to mention the visual that came to
mind with an archer playing with himself<evil grin>)
Archers are ladies as well by the way and if the
practice isn't posted and there are no marshals
present then it's not official. Shooting a target by
oneself is about as effective as practicing against a
pell. It's not the real thing.

Third Has anyone looked at McInnish Park where Glaslyn
and Lindenwood hold their Archery practice. I know we
have generated a lot of interest there shooting bows
while wearing funny clothes. While there are not a
bunch of trees on the archery range, not good for the
arrows, There is a flat space with shade, a pavilion,
parking, and grills near by. The playground and
restrooms are in easy walking distance. I'm not sure
how crowded they are as my children both shoot and are
not running around. I don't know if they have
facilities for 4 footed equine friends but I could
find out. And one finer point from my children's
point of view is the ice cream vendors that troll for
hot, thirsty individuals.

Lady Roana FitzStephen
Writing on her own but using Lord Lothar's email. (If
he only knew <another evil grin>)
