[Steppes] Research Question

The Plano/Allen libraries have a pretty good interlibrary loan system.  They also have their catalogs online.  The url is http://www.planolibrary.org/ .  They do have books by both Antonia Fraser and Allison Weir, both of whom I find very informative.
