Hi Maria, Gabrielle here (remember me?  "once a Hospitaler, always a Hospitaler!")

Um... you do realize that this coming weekend is Memorial Day weekend, right?  Labor Day is in September.  Anyway, Memorial Day is always the last Monday in May (a week from today, the 25th).  The following Monday after that is June 2.  So, have your friend look at his calendar again or inform someone of the error.  Goes by fast, doesn't it?  :-)
