I did a lot of asking around about period pavilions at Pennsic (and every
other event I went to) a couple of years ago, and from what I recall you
will find Panther hard to beat. There are certainly less expensive sources,
but I have heard wonderful things about the sturdiness of a Panther and its
ability to hold up well in a storm. But you might want to check on
availability; if there is a waiting list you might not get it before Gulf
War.

I apologize for the bandwidth, but I am curious. I am looking to pick up a
period-style pavilion before Gulf Wars, and the frontrunner right now seems
to be the Panther Primitives (The Regent Pavilion style).
Does anyone know anything about this company's work (good or bad), and
whether or not there are better sources?
Thanks!
