[Steppes] BioN event

Greetings All from Master Philip White,

I did not get a chance to write about attending Lindenwood’s “Believe it or 
Not” event so soon after it was over – but I really wanted to let everyone 
know a few things about the event.

It is important for me to thank Lady Maria Cabeca de Vaca directly for her 
efforts in creating this event.  Truly we are a small family of hard working 
members and when someone new comes into our group to work with us and fits 
in so well it is truly valuable to the health of our Canton. She immediately 
started volunteering her efforts and this event is really a good example of 
how given the right opportunities we can really contribute to the strength 
of our Cantons and the Barony of the Steppes as a whole.

So often we have little chance to spend with our friends relaxing and 
enjoying the environment we value so much in the Society. Maria simply had 
the idea of creating a fun and quirky event which would be low maintenance 
and just allow people to do the activities they love and be with their 
fellow populous members. It was a chance for us to get to know one another 
better but also be good hosts to our neighbors who came to visit from 
outside the barony. Leaving the event I could tell everyone had a truly good 
time and went to their homes in a good mood and with a smile on their face.

I know I left with a smile on my face. I think that qualifies for a 
successful event. More often we should judge our successes in this manner.
