[Steppes] a factoid about the email list

Greetings from one of your friendly neighborhood list moderators. 
 
Master Robin posed a question a couple days about about the "reply to" address for this list, and noted how this list is run differently that practically every other list in the kingdom.  I'm not sure if that's hyperbole or not, but it's also my opinion.  LOLAt any rate, this list has been set to "reply" only to the poster and not the list for some time.  TO reply to the list, you must "reply all."  I find myself having to go back and re-send emails to the list fairly often and I've heard the complaint a number of times.  As a moderator who was asked in the past by the Baron/Baroness and/or the seneschal to put the setting the way it currently is, I don't believe it's my place to change it willy-nilly back.  But Robin's question didn't get any kind of response, so I thought I'd at least mention WHY it's set that way and see if this engenders any conversation on the matter that might sway our current seneschal, our current Baron or our current or future Baroness.  Anyone?
