[Steppes] Twelfth Night -- major decision in front of us.

One more idea.... 

Could we combine Artisan with a Fall Court? Artisan during the day and early evening, then a Court for awards and such, then end the evening with a "tavern" type affair with period gaming, bardic circles, maybe middle eastern dance? Not that I want us to be known as the party barony :p

This would be held sometime in the fall to provide a space between Warlord and the next event to give out armigerous-type awards. Thus the 2 Kingdom events aren't so close together, 12th Night is more relaxed, the Artisans get a full day to devote to their competition, and we get to have a real Fall Court that would be more of a evening/night event.

I'm not attached to this or any idea - just looking for options.

I think that keeping it as a kingdom event is important.  More so, 
than 12th Night.

My reasons?  12th Night is just a big social event.  The main reason 
that courts are so long is because often the crown uses it for all 
those last minute awards they want to give before they step down.

All that people do at 12th Night is socially based.  Because of this, 
I don't think it would loose anything by becoming regional instead of 
Kingdom level.

Artisan, on the other hand, is a unique event in a whole different 
way.  Here people come and show some of the most important things 
they have made.  They sit and talk to people, explaining and 
teaching, and then receive wisdom and suggestions in return.  Kingdom 
A&S is not that way.  The artisans are not even able to sit by their 
stuff and talk to the judges at all.  I love the things I have 
learned the two times I have entered Artisan, and they have both 
improved my outlook and goals for future projects.

If it is possible, moving artisan to a bit later in the year might 
remove the burden from those who serve, and also make it more 
possible for the crown to come.

I know that the kingdom calendar is tight, but might we do this?
