Today in class, we were discussing poetry and how in the Middle Ages/Renaissance/etc. that it was memorized and spoken. I was thinking it would be neat to let the others in my class see what it was like, to memorize something and speak/perform it. The instructor and I talked and if anyone has a few minutes free on Tuesday or Thursday morning in the next couple of weeks, we'd love to have someone come in and show the others in my class what it was like.

I know we have some great bards, that bring tears to my eyes when they perform because the performance is EXCELLENT. I could not do justice to show the class what it was like. We've been talking about Shakespeare, and some of the others and reading 16th and 15th century poems. As well as contemporary free-form poems.
