[Steppes] Arts and Sciences Night - Thursday April 13th, 2017

Greetings from the office of the Minister of Arts and Sciences

This month for our A&S evening, I would like a brainstorming session - what
we would like to see presented for the balance of the year, and so forth. I
realize we could do this online, but the energy created by people together
makes for great ideas! I encourage everyone who has the time to come to
Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 1333 Belt Line Rd, Garland, TX 75040.

I am looking to fill the roster of classes and activities for the monthly
A&S night, as well as periodic workshops and seminars. Some items I would
like to see:

Armour stands (Heaven knows I need one!)
Armouring (Maybe in conjunction with Fighter Practise)
Dance (Who is the baronial "dance person" - there's always one!)
Wire weaving
Period Game Night
"The Basics" - Garb
Period herbalism
Heraldry Night! Or: What's a Boyarynya?
PotLuck - Documentable foods that travel!
Rhythm in the Middle Ages

Should be a good start! If you need a ride, let me know - I have just
enough time to pick someone up (I think). I'll bring a snack tray and some
coffee and/or tea to share - you bring something also! Along with your
self!
