We invite one and all to attend

BORDER WARS 2002
President’s Day weekend – Feb. 15-18, 2002

The site is Hawkwood Fantasy Faire in Roanoke TX.  Site opens at 2 PM
Friday, Feb 15, and closes 12 Noon Monday, Feb 18.

Site fee is $10 adults, $5 children 5-12, $0 children 4 and under, $25
family max.

Please make checks payable to SCA Inc., Canton of Lindenwood.  Minors
must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  They may also attend
with a 21-year or older adult with a signed and notarized Minor Event
Waiver Form from the parents.  This form is available online at
www.ansteorra.org.  These forms will be checked at sign-in.

The site is wet (period containers only, please) and has both running
water and electricity.  No pets please.

There will be lots of opportunities for fighting.  There will be much
preparation for Gulf Wars.

There will be cattle raids and a “Thieves and Merchants” battle
(probably more than one!).  There will be games and competitions for all
the interested populace.  The cattle raids are open to everyone ages 5
and up.  Rules for the game and site rules will be published in upcoming
announcements.
