[Ansteorra-announce] King's Lancer results

Greetings:

It is with great pleasure I announce the results of the grand tournament
held this weekend past in the Barony of Elfsea to celebrate the
investiture of Baron Armand and Baroness Ameline.  Their Majesties
Ulsted and Cateau sent out word for the finest riders to gather and
compete.  As Ansteorra has some of the best riders in the knowne world,
the competition was fierce.  At the end of the day Sir Gideon MacLeod
prevailed over all other riders to claim title as the newest King's
Lancer of Ansteorra.  Congratulations for a well earned victory!

On a related note, as of this weekend I have stepped down as Minster of
the Horse (kingdom equestrian officer).  After about four years it is
time for another to take up the reins.  I wish to express my gratitude
to all those who have helped make our equestrian program grow.  Their
Majesties along with Sir Randall have selected Lady Lorraine Frasier to
lead our kingdom's equestrians.  I leave office knowing that Lady
Lorraine will do an excellant job and the program will continue to
flourish.
