[Ansteorra-announce] Personal Contributions for AAA Fundraising

Greetings Ansteorra!

 

I've received several e-mails asking about whether personal contributions
can be made to the fundraising efforts for Argent Anniversary.  The simple
answer is "Yes!"

 

Personal checks can be made out to "SCA, Inc. - Kingdom of Ansteorra" with
the phrase "AAA Fireworks - (group name)" in the memo.  All checks must have
this memo, for the funds to be allocated to the fireworks display, and for
them to count towards your group's total in the competition.  You can mail
your donation to Mistress Kaitlyn McKenna, the AAA Treasurer, or you can
bring them to Steppes Warlord.  (Because we have allowed money raised at
events to count toward the host group, we will only be accepting donations
for other groups during the auction on Saturday - donations received at any
other time during Steppes Warlord will count toward the Steppes' total, no
exceptions!)

 

If you wish to make a donation directly, however, you need to hurry.  All
funds raised for AAA must be *received* by Mistress Kaitlyn McKenna, the AAA
Treasurer, before Steppes Warlord in order for the donation to count toward
the camping space competition and for the funds to be paid to the
pyrotechnics company in time for the show to be ready by AAA.  If you need

Hopefully this may resolve some confusion regarding personal contributions.
